Art is a big deal in our house. We have almost an entire playroom dedicated to getting hands on and creative. I often find myself curling up in the evenings to doodle here and there. My oldest and I love to curl up and draw together. It's become our bonding ritual.
What child hasn't run to their parents exited of what they've created....wanting to immediately display it somewhere proudly? But realistically I know I can't display every single piece of art kids. That doesn't mean I don't want to display them...in fact, quite the opposite. I LOVE displaying my kids art. The bright colors just automatically make me happy. So, I recently set out to find a place the kids could be proud to display their art, but also a functional place that doesn't overwhelm the entire fridge.
The ongoing project is already more than I could dream. I truly love everything about this wall. I think it might be one of my favorite places in the house.
Again, completely still an ongoing project. I want to add some more of these picture frames (from The Articulate Gallery). They have been perfect to slide art in and out of. Which is something my kids do all the time.
